Nobody Beats the Wiz

It might be that I am wearing rose-tinted glasses when I think back to “The Wizard” which I’m sure was 90 minutes of torture my Dad wishes he never agreed to. But when I was 8, that movie was awesome. It had Mario 3. 3!! Nobody had ever seen it before. That was like the best commercial ever. It even made the Powerglove look like a functional controller. And while I had a Sega Master System and in fact not the hardware required for such a game.. i had friends that did and I took every opportunity to play Mario 3 that I could.
