Escape Strategies
It is very much true that I have a withdraw limit of 100 dollars a day on my account more or less because of the reason mentioned in the comic. Bryan’s escape idea involves throwing his whole wallet away, which is foolish! Foolish I say!
Also I think its worth noting that I find a band called the Black Stripes who dress like Zebras to be one of the best things I’ve ever thought of....

Economy inflation impacts Beer too, ya know
Anyone that knows Bryan and I knows that neither of us are what you might call a “beer snob”, per se. However, $4 for a pint of Stella is a good deal pretty much anyway you slice it (we did the math). Seriously, I still can’t believe what a deal that is.
PS. We didn’t really do any math.
Voluntary Organ Donation
Ah ha, I seem to have fixed whatever Tumblr was doing to my posts - so the text can again sit next to the image. Not on top. Sadly, this is pretty exciting for me right now.
Anyway, as for the strip it was based off an idea that Bryan had. I don’t know anyone personally that even is an organ donor. I also don’t know anyone who’s woken up in pool of ice with kidney’s...
Just Copy and Paste!
Some of you long time fans may have noticed a little bit of a ‘repeat’ of our final punchline in this year’s Hallowe’en strip… Back in 2003 Matt and I were still publishing Gen Y at York University in their paper ‘Excalibur’ and often times we’d have jokes very specific to York life. That Hallowe’en (one that pretty much all of us agree...

A most favourite holiday
Its one of the most wonderful times of the year! Halloween! Yeah! .. Is that enough enthusiasm Bryan? Some people don’t know this, but Halloween is one of Bryan’s favourite holidays. Even though we don’t even get a day off for it. I like Christmas better, there is at least a couple days off. And presents! And something about a baby … something.. yeah.. something that is...
Peer Pressure
Ok, so bare with me, because tumblr seems to be giving me trouble with the text editor today. Do I know why? No, no I don’t. Anyway, hopefully it will just figure itself out when I post this, but who knows. All you should know is that I take no responsibility for it.
On to more pressing issues: Farmville. I’m kind of at a loss for this entity of time wasting. Everyone begged me to...

It figures..
So up until about last monday Toronto had been experiencing what some people were calling the coldest summer ever. Whether there is any data to prove this, I do not know. Sounds like someone made that up. And that someone might have been me, right now.
In any case its been a sticky, hot, unbearable mess for almost 2 weeks now. We generally write the scripts ahead of time. So yeah, its not what...
Comics vs. Reality
So, I think it needs to be said that while my girlfriends family did stay with us I didn’t at any point hide in the bathroom. They were honestly great to have stay in our place and it was a pleasure to get to spend some time with them.
I *might* have been going through a bit of gaming withdrawl though which is were the idea for this strip came from (I’m also still psyched about being...

Hey, that's a half truth!
Yes its been a couple weeks again, and that means its time for another comic strip for all of you to hopefully enjoy. There isn’t really any back story to this one, although if there was I am certain that I wouldn’t tell you about it anyway!

Nobody Beats the Wiz
It might be that I am wearing rose-tinted glasses when I think back to “The Wizard” which I’m sure was 90 minutes of torture my Dad wishes he never agreed to. But when I was 8, that movie was awesome. It had Mario 3. 3!! Nobody had ever seen it before. That was like the best commercial ever. It even made the Powerglove look like a functional controller. And while I had a Sega...
Old Timey is fashionable once more
I think its pretty much a given that Bryan wrote most of this new one since as of this post I still have no idea what the hell Murdoch Mysteries is. I don’t have cable. I haven’t had cable for at least 3 years and honestly I don’t miss it at all. Yeah that’s right, I don’t know what’s happening in Lost right now and I don’t care!

I know this is late..
So, its been a few weeks since the last strip. This is not for lack of things for us to make strips about. I guess you might say we’ve been caught up in other things. My apologies. But have you SEEN Deadliest Warrior. Man that show is cool. I hope they do Abraham Lincoln vs. Mike Tyson or something like that. Seriously they need to see if Tyson can punch through a pig carcass.

And for anybody scratching their heads as to who or what a ‘Pruane’ is I’ll direct you to my current favorite internet celebrity, Canada’s own: Pruane!

Just a heads up though: his Xbox friends list is full, we’ve tried.
System Wars continue
For many months now Bryan and I have been talking about whether he should get a PS3 or an Xbox 360. This is a big step for him since the last system he really had before was in fact an N64. His PS2 doesn’t count because I gave him my old one. If you want to weigh in on which you think he should get, leave us a message on the facebook fan page. Come on, do it! What else have you got going on...
So every night I was supposed to draw this strip before and after actual St Paddy’s I found myself drinking at a bar and how could I possibly turn down celebrating my third favorite holiday several days in a row? And if you don’t buy that then… uh… April Fools!
Thankfully I only had to encounter one other male red head this past St Paddy’s Day, with minimal...
Its SO green to make up for the lateness..?
Ok, we’re a bit late with this one. Apologies! Would you be willing to believe its taken this long for the St. Patrick’s day hang over to wear off? No? Damnit! Alright well .. that’s what happened. End of story! No more questions!!
You can expect some more Gen Y shortly as there are more in the pipe.

Travellers vs. Roadies
In all honesty, I wanted to write another Street Fighter comic. I didn’t though. I’d been sitting on this script for a bit because the Ledgeversary and the SF launch were more timely strips. I’d like to note that Bryan did a fantastic job of drawing up the can from what I thought it should look like. Also of note, “Travellers” can be called “Roadies”. We...

I *heart* Street Fighter
Ever since Street Figher 2 Hyper Fighting Special Edition for Sega Genesis I have loved the SF series. Sure I liked the arcade a lot, but I was terrible and it was a waste of perfectly good quarters I could have been using for candy. With Street Fighter 4 coming out today, we figured we’d dig out this old script write up a new Gen y to celebrate. Hope you enjoy!

Correction!
Just a slight correction to Matt’s previous- The Ledgeversary is actually tomorrow. Why do I know this? Well let’s put it this way, no word of a lie: I’ve seen ‘10 Things’ and ‘Knight’s Tale’ a combined number of somewhere around 90 times… I am just DYING for those Bluerays.
The Ledge
It is with sad hearts we remember that Heath Ledger passed away a year ago today. This is made even more painful because Dark Knight was so incredibly awesome. In all honesty, I was never a huge fan of the Ledge, but Bryan has been a fan since at least 10 Things (his all-time favourite movie.. he’ll tell you its Predator to save cred, but he’s a dirty liar). In any case, we shall pour...
Creepy
Ok so we’re back in 09 bringing the like, heat or whatever. Actually this strip is kind of a downer. But we were thinking about what people who have rock band do when they’re alone. I know we just did a rock band strip not long ago, and trust me this comic isn’t going to become a gaming comic a la penny arcade. I’d also like to note that I do not like Radiohead. At all.

From the Future
This post is coming to you from Switzerland. Its monday right now, and my feet are tired from walking around Zurich. But we’re going to up a strip anyway. Send any adulation to Bryan because I was mostly no help on this one!
Techincally, we had difficulties
I should really let Bryan tell you this because it was HIS computer that essetially exploded this weekend - but that is why this comic is late. Hopefully we will have another strip up for you next week!

Plastic Guitars
Just a quick disclaimer this week, because I”m sure someone will take this strip the wrong way. Rock Band is actually pretty fun. I will say on record though that I still hate Aerosmith. They ruined Armageddon!
Ok, to be fair that movie already had its share of problems. But still.
Two Comics in Two Weeks?
Yes we did!
Anyway, we generally like doing a Halloween comic every year since its basically the only holiday Bryan gets excited about. Like really excited. 4 year old girl riding a pony excited.

Good Lord I can post things on this site too!
Just wanted to say thanks to everyone that turned out for the launch party on Friday night, it was an awesome night to chill and enjoy a pint or (in our case) several pints… Arguably too many pints! Thanks again!
Happy Turkey Day
Hey Everyone. We officially launched this site on friday so tell your friends! Its thanksgiving here in Canada so the strip will either be up later tonight or early monday morning. Sorry for the delay but Bryan and I have both had family things to attend to. Happy holidays!
